Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday BAPU!! Ever since I watched the movie "Ghandi" in high school I've been calling my dad Bapu [it means Father in Hindi] and every single one of my cousins calls him that as well which is hilarious. Today he turned 44! he's such an old man haha. Unfortunately, he's in California working and won't be back until the 25th so I wont be able to hang out with him until then. :\ It is A-OK, I'm planning a special dinner for when he gets home.(:

Thursday was my brother's last freshman year Snow Canyon FALL BALL game, Grey vs. Gold teams, winner takes the green windbreakers. haha. It was so funny seeing the teams because they were so diverse, we had freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors all mixed into the four different teams. Brian's team [grey] lost the first two games of the season and it didnt look like they'd make it to the championship game. They proved everyone wrong! haha, They won the rest of their games AND beat the gold team 12-9. Brian went 4-4 and did a great job pitching.(: I'm a proud sister.
Brian was rocking Big Papi's number.

The Boys loved their new windbreakers.

Sunday was crazy for me, Like I mentioned last week, the primary stake presidency asked if our primary kids could sing at the stake conference, we chose to sing "The Church Of Jesus Christ" in Spanish and English. The kids were all ready and knew the song perfectly... that is until they got up and looked at the congregation. There wasn't an empty seat in the house and the seats extended into 3/4 of the gym. Needless to say, they got nervous! They did awesome though. everyone was able to hear them and their little voices sounded great! I am one proud music teacher(: I wish I could have snapped a picture of them. We ran into Elder Brown, well now he's an RM, and here's a picture of him and my family.(:

Anywho, after church I headed home, ate dinner and got a phone call from the primary president, she invited me over for dinner and wouldn't take no for an answer. I headed over there for dessert and had ice cream with them and the missionaries. I already had made plans to meet up with my friend Megan and teach her how to make some Cashew Chicken Curry , so I headed over and told her what to do, she did awesome and it came out good. My friend Katelyn made her own curry and it was yummy. It was a curry filled Sunday. Lastly, we decided to have a primary teacher appreciation dinner we had all of the teachers, substitutes, music assistant and branch president come. It was a lot of fun but I couldn't eat anymore. Haha.

This is Katelyn's.

and Megan's.

We had some Lasagna, Garlic Bread, and Salad.
